International Talent on the way to southern Sweden within the fields of IT & Engineering! The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce (SACC) have over 700 candidates coming from some of the top universities in USA, looking to start their careers in Sweden. Some of these candidates have work experience, may even have 1-2 years’ experience in their respective fields.
International Citizen Hub Lund / Lunds Kommun has entered into a collaboration with the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce (SACC) to help bring this talent to companies where there exists a lack of this competence needed for further growth and development.
The process has been designed to make it easier for companies to test the candidate’s skills which hopefully will lead to either a permanent position or a good ambassador to market the company and the region.
The candidate comes in on a work permit of training for a maximum of 18 months with the option to extend, if offered a position.
The responsibility of the company is to provide a trainee salary, employee taxes and insurance for the trainee as a regular employee.
The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce (SACC) provides assistance in presenting the optimal candidates to the company, migration assistance and home finding. This service is free of charge until end of August 2019.
